Brownstones everywhere.. I remember seing pictures sent to me by my cousins in the US. I noticed the houses were all of this reddish brown colour. Now those thoughts are proven - every flat is built with this same external appearance - brownish red colour.. But you gotta admit, it looks quite elegant Posted by Picasa

A hoboken Street Junction - notice the Pedestrian stop and Go lamps. A Red (or Orange) palm indicating Stop and a white Man (or a blinking WALK lettering) indicating when its safe to walk. But in New York anyway, its terrorizing for the motorists, because rarely do people pay heed to the rules; they just barge in and keep walking no matter what if there are cars or not.. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, there are hundreds of ambulances whizzing past New York's crammed streets with their sirens blaring. In almost all of my trips, I could hear one passing within my proximity Posted by Picasa
