The adventure begins

The annointed day is finally here !

 

Months in the planning, the great European adventure is finaly kicking off. The date is 26 April 2006, and I am standing at an Internet lounge in Changi airport waiting to board my flight to Amsterdam.

 

First stop - Vienna, Austria. Home of the world's best Apple strudels, the starting point of the great Alps and unspoilt, pristing landscapes. Not to mention, gothic style architecture, beautiful gardens and imposing castles. Here I come !!!

 

The plan - spend 2 days in Vienna toruing the city and its environs. Then pay a visit to the nearby UN city and then catch a train to Salzburg - the birthplace of Mozart. A day there, and then make way to Switzerland stopping for a while at any interesting places.. Target - get to Zurich only after 10 pm on Sunday 30 April
