The American Bridal falls. Its not visible from this pic, but just about at the edge of the falls, a pathway leads up to the base of the rocky base where you can walk and get a feel of the incredible force of the falls - from 2 feet away.. Incredibly designed though - you get to see the water striking the rocks just 2 feet in front of you and still dont get swept away.. atleast I didnt. In fact I stood there for a long while pondering about the vagaries of life as the mist kept striking me like a sheet of ice... it makes you think, that if the flood gates at the dam upstream suddenly give way doubling the volume and force of the falls.. you will certainly get swept away
