During the days of the II World War, most of the roads in San Francisco were designed to be runways for Spitfire Mark III aircraft. If one were to race a Ferrari at over 120 mph over the slopes shown at the far extreme in this picture, one would achieve a very good arial view of the city. This feat was very clearly elucidated by Messrs Nicholas Cage and Messrs Sean Connery in "The Rock" Posted by Picasa
