Mr. <> from the Jungfrau Railway Company. He was explaining to us about the history of the railway line to the Jungfrau peak. To our utter surprise, the rail line was completed in 1912, and the train line begins from Klein Schnidegg up to Jungfraujoch station. This station located inside the mountains, is at an altitude of 3454 metres, and is the highest railway station in Europe. **(Not sure if this is the highest in the world). With the high altitude, comes the sky-high prices. A trip to the top costs 150 Swiss Francs per person !!!
