THE RIALTO BRIDGE - symbolising Venice for generations. The bridge is wide enough for three cars to pass side-by side comfortably. There is an inner walkway which is covered and its filled with souvenir shops and fish and fresh food markets (during the day). On the outer periphery ther is a walkway with a parapet (visible here). Its here that you lean back and watch the boats- big and small passing under. If you are bored, switch and go watch the other side. Keep doing this, till you feel like getting some Gelato
